SIX WAYS TO IMPROVE HIP STRENGTH WITH A RESISTANCE BAND.


Rather than focusing on specific hip muscles, I find it much more beneficial to focus on the 6 main movements.


Can you create hypertrophy or strength with a resistance band? Absolutely. If you are creating some fatigue within the required rep range by utilising a strong enough resistance and progressively loading. Some motions (ie. hip internal rotation) can definitely be ‘strengthened’ with mere bodyweight or light resistance
